Vacation Bible School

Our week-long summer Vacation Bible School program combines fun, summer activities, an interesting location we bring right into the sanctuary, and Bible stories which tell us about God’s love and Jesus’ salvation. Check out some of our past years’ programs below!

“FAITH IS THE SUBSTANCE OF THINGS HOPED FOR, THE EVIDENCE OF THINGS NOT SEEN.” HEBREWS 11:1

In 2023, our VBS theme was Stompers and Chompers, a dinosaur theme where kids explored our world before the Flood, complete with fun-loving characters, lush jungle environments, and dino-sized experiences. Students learned ageless truths from the faith and failures of some of the first people in the Bible. And they discovered how they can, by faith, follow God's big plan for them today!

“Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends”John 15:13

In 2019, we put on Giddyup Junction, a western-themed VBS where kids spun lassos, mined for gold, and rode horses, complete with an Old West town, cactuses, and covered wagons. Kids learned about the good news of God’s love—the gospel—going to new frontiers in the book of Acts. They responded to God’s love and learned how they can take it to new frontiers.

Discovering God’s Forever Forgiveness -

“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins” (1 John 1:9).

In 2018, students went to Camp Moose on the Loose! We experienced a camping theme where they hiked, canoed, and fished — complete with tents, campfires, and wildlife. Through the lessons, kids learned about the life of Christ as seen through the eyes of Peter, and will discover the lasting forgiveness that only Christ can give.

Moat 08.jpg

“I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust” (Ps. 91:2)

In 2017, we went Over the Moat. Students experienced medieval life, complete with a castle, knights, and royalty. Through the lessons, they saw God’s sovereignty, love, and faithfulness demonstrated in the life of David, and learned to praise the King of the universe.

Cow-A-Bunga Farm!

In 2016, we went to Cowabunga Farm. Students experienced life on the farm—complete with animals, tractors, and growing crops. As they learned about God's faithfulness as revealed in the life of Joseph, they were encouraged to grow in godliness and to trust in God's plan.
