Pastor Bonnie Higgins

Pastor Bonnie Higgins was brought up in a Christian home, where she was involved in many activities in the church throughout her childhood.

When asked about her personal views, Pastor Bonnie says this:

“My core theological belief that frames my life and ministry is that because of the sin in the world, God sent His Son, Jesus to earth as a baby that led to His ministry. God gave His Son to die for the people on a cross and then was resurrected three days later so people would have eternal life if they accepted the free gift of salvation from God. Because of this selfish act, God shows how great His love is to people.”

Pastor Bonnie feels the mission of the people of the Church is to go out into their community, their family, their work place, and their friends to let others know that Jesus is the source of eternal life (Matthew 28:18-20). The church should be a place for people to come to as a safe place, a place to worship, a sanctuary to find peace. She enjoys working with others and learning about who they are.

Overall, Pastor Bonnie loves to serve others, teach, evangelize, lead, and show her faith and compassion towards others. Her goal as a pastor is to lead with the help of the congregation to grow the Kingdom of God. She feels that working within the community the church is a part of, showing others that Jesus is the answer, and serving those who need it will enhance the church of Jesus Christ.
